• lead the financial control function for key areas within Macquarie Asset Management, partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
• oversee performance fee recognition
• assess new products and complex transactions
• ensure robust governance of UK regulated entities
• be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of financial results reported to the Group
• work closely with offshore teams on month-end close, audits, and tax matters
• engage with portfolio companies
• lead valuations and impairment assessments
• provide financial insights that influence senior leadership decisions
• develop and mentor team members
• collaborate with colleagues across EMEA, India, the Americas, and Australia.

• 8 + Years ACA/CA PQ experience in financial controllership, financial reporting, or accounting within a financial services environment, with sound professional judgement and a strong control mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly and influence decision-making at senior levels.
• A track record of delivering accurate, high quality outcomes while balancing attention to detail with a broader commercial perspective.
• Proven ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and thrive in a fast paced and evolving environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience applying IFRS, AASB, or FRS standards such as IFRS 10, IFRS 9, and IAS 28.
