SIA SPH Engineering’s Chief Accountant is responsible for the company’s accounting, tax, and statutory reporting in Latvia. The role also covers cash flow and intercompany settlements across group entities.

• Prepare SIA SPH Engineering’s budget as part of the group cycle led by the Financial Manager
• Run rolling forecasts and track budget versus actuals
• Analyze costs and identify savings
• Manage cash flow and liquidity for all group entities in Latvia, the USA, Serbia, Hungary, and Malta
• Plan supplier payments and control invoices in Zoho
• Handle intercompany financing, Wise accounts, and bank compliance requests
• Own accounting and tax for SIA SPH Engineering
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing, statutory reports, and tax returns
• Coordinate audits and tax inspections
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Provide data for group management reporting

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Latvian accounting and tax legislation and statutory reporting requirements
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years as Chief Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant, or Financial Controller
• Experience in a group of companies or holding structure with multiple legal entities
• Experience in management reporting, budgeting, and cash flow planning
• Strong knowledge of Latvian tax law and intercompany accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on Zoho experience
• Fluent Latvian
• English B2 or higher
• Analytical, responsible, and well-organized, with a drive to automate processes
