• You develop, implement and monitor security measures to protect the information, network and IT systems of the GETEC Group.
• You analyze security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities and derive appropriate measures to minimize risks.
• The design, further development and implementation of cyber security strategies and security architectures are part of your responsibilities.
• You define technical and organizational security requirements and advise internal stakeholders on the selection and implementation of appropriate security solutions.
• A key focus of your work is operating, administering and further developing our Palo Alto security infrastructure. This includes, in particular, Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, PAN-OS, Panorama and Cortex XDR Pro.
• You analyze and handle security incidents and alerts in the Palo Alto environment and support the continuous optimization of policies, detection and prevention mechanisms.
• Using modern monitoring and analysis tools, you identify security events, anomalies and potential attacks at an early stage.
• You conduct vulnerability scans, assess the results, prioritize risks and support the implementation of appropriate countermeasures.
• You support audits, risk analyses, and regulatory and group-wide compliance requirements, particularly in the areas of NIS2 and information security.
• You prepare informative reports, security assessments and recommendations for action for departments and management.
• You also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, support security projects and contribute to the continuous development of the security organization.

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, cyber security, information technology or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in IT security, cyber security or security operations.
• In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response and security engineering.
• Several years of practical experience with security solutions from Palo Alto Networks is essential for this position.
• You have in-depth practical knowledge of administering and operating Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls and PAN-OS, as well as ideally Palo Alto Panorama.
• You can confidently work with firewall security policies, NAT, VPN, GlobalProtect and the analysis of network and security logs in the Palo Alto environment.
• You also have experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Nessus or comparable systems.
• Experience in analyzing, assessing and documenting security risks, as well as implementing technical security measures, is part of your profile.
• You have strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Very good German and English skills, as well as strong communication skills, complete your profile.
