- Comprehensive theoretical and practical expertise in symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, digital signatures, PKI management, Key Management Systems (KMS), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
- Deep understanding of quantum computing threats to modern encryption, NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards, hybrid key exchange, and crypto-agility strategies.
- Hands-on capability in threat modeling and secure system design across cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and container platforms (Kubernetes, ECS).
- Pragmatic problem solver who views security as an engineering enabler, capable of designing robust controls that minimise developer friction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience distilling complex cryptographic risks into clear architecture documentation (RFCs, ADRs) and guidance for technical teams and senior stakeholders.
