Platform engineer for Medallia

Billigence is a boutique data consultancy with global outreach & clientele, transforming the way organizations work with data. We are looking for an experienced Medallia Platform Engineer to administer, configure and support the Medallia customer experience platform for an enterprise client. You will be the go-to platform expert across business and IT teams, owning changes, troubleshooting and support end to end, from survey configuration through to the data pipelines that feed the platform.

• Administer and configure the Medallia platform, including creating, modifying and maintaining reports, dashboards, KPIs and visualisations
• Configure, test and deploy customer surveys and feedback programmes
• Manage Medallia Digital properties, intercepts, tagging and digital experience configurations
• Gather requirements, carry out impact assessments and provide business analysis support
• Troubleshoot platform, reporting, data and integration issues across business and IT teams
• Provide full support for the SaaS application and its underlying ETL/ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and IBM DataStage, working independently and coordinating troubleshooting with other IT teams
• Develop and maintain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and script-based configurations and enhancements
• Perform data validation and root-cause analysis, and support SQL and database investigations where required
• Actively share knowledge, including keeping the Confluence knowledge base up to date in a structured, LLM-friendly format
• All assigned development tasks delivered through to completion
• At least one knowledge base article created or updated every month

• Proven, hands-on experience administering and configuring the Medallia platform
• Experience configuring Medallia surveys, reporting and Medallia Digital
• Experience supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, ideally in Microsoft Fabric and/or IBM DataStage
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and root-cause analysis
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience gathering requirements and carrying out impact assessments with business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Prior hands-on experience with Medallia is essential. Candidates without direct Medallia platform experience will not be considered.
