• Design, develop and implement processes for IT production control with regard to the Pension Service-specific IT infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to the development of customer-specific solutions and architectures, particularly with regard to IT security, data backup, high availability, state-of-the-art technologies and ensuring IT operations in disaster situations.
• Perform operational administration of IT systems and applications.
• Manage releases to meet business requirements based on defined standards.
• Advise IT projects in the development departments in the role of an IT operations architect, and carry out IT projects of medium to high complexity.

• A degree (e.g. with a focus on computer science) or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g. IT specialist), with many years of professional IT experience.
• Excellent administrative IT skills in the areas of Linux, virtualization, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, event streaming, document-oriented databases, identity and access management.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, ELK Stack and Keycloak.
• Analytical, planning and organizational skills, as well as innovative thinking.
• An open, agile and DevOps mindset.
• Willingness to travel for business: less than 20% of working hours.
• German: fluent professional proficiency / at least level C1.
• English: good proficiency / at least level B1.
