Infrastructure DevOps engineer for SaaS platforms

Matomo is an open-source analytics platform trusted by enterprises, public institutions, and governments requiring full data ownership. We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud platform—driving architecture, reliability, and operational excellence at scale.

• Architect and evolve scalable, secure cloud infrastructure
• Define infrastructure standards and long-term technical direction
• Drive cost optimisation and performance improvements
• Own uptime, SLAs, and incident management practices
• Lead post-incident reviews and systemic improvements
• Define monitoring, alerting, and observability strategy
• Lead Infrastructure as Code maturity and governance
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability
• Enable engineering teams through better tooling and platform capabilities

• 5-8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Deep AWS and cloud architecture expertise
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience
• Proven ownership of complex, production systems
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to influence teams and drive technical decisions
