Head of ML platform team

About the position: We are looking for a Head of ML Platform Team for Bank of Georgia's Data Analytics team. This position will be responsible for managing and developing the machine learning platform team. You will play a strategic role in building and developing a machine learning platform ecosystem.

• Manage, motivate, and support the professional development of the ML platform team.
• Develop the ML platform development strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure the standardization of machine learning infrastructure.
• Research and implement new technologies and methodologies.
• Automate the management of the machine learning models' life cycle.
• Establish processes for model registration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop mechanisms for data validation and drift detection.
• Simplify the use of models in business processes.
• Collaborate with teams in the Data Analytics department to understand their needs.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to detail tasks.
• Set priorities for the machine learning platform in line with business requirements.
• Coordinate with data analytics and data science teams.

• At least 3 years of experience in machine learning or data engineering.
• General knowledge of MLOps principles and practices.
• Experience with machine learning platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar.
• Experience with data infrastructure such as Hadoop, PostgreSQL, and big data technologies.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, and Java.
• Experience managing projects using Scrum/Agile methodology.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Innovative thinking and the ability to implement new technologies.
• Project management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to make timely decisions and delegate effectively.
