Since 2015, ablefy has been on a mission to turn expertise and passion into thriving businesses. Today, more than 100,000 entrepreneurs and companies use our platform to sell and grow, and together they’ve generated over €2 billion in revenue through ablefy.
We bring selling, payments, subscriptions and all the operations behind them into one place. That gives coaches, consultants, creators and growing companies the infrastructure to build and scale digital businesses across borders, without the usual complexity. We handle the hard parts so our customers can focus on what they do best.
Our principle is simple: when our customers grow, we grow. It shapes every product decision we make and how we measure our success. We’re already a leading platform in the DACH region, and we’re building what comes next.
Our mission; to build software that empowers everyone to start, run and grow a successful digital business - borderless, is supported by our high performance principles that are crucial to our success:
- Radical Collaboration
- Constructive confrontation
- Adaptive execution
- Collective ambition
- Evolving expertise
- Empathetic leadership
We're looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the path from an approved pull request to production, making it fast, safe, and repeatable many times a day.
This is an outcome-driven platform role. What makes it different from a classic operations job is the level of end-to-end ownership. You aren't here to pick up tickets or maintain static pipelines; you own our delivery throughput and reliability metrics (DORA) directly. You will design, build, and optimize the internal systems that empower our engineering teams to ship code with high confidence, automating away manual friction and driving our transition toward a modern, self-service platform.
We are putting «you build it, you run it, you own it» into practice, not treating it as a slogan. Product teams are moving toward running, operating and owning their own services, including the cost of them. Your job is to build the platform, tooling and guardrails that make that a safe thing to ask of them, and to make the safe path the easy one.
We are also moving into agentic engineering. AI agents that write, review and ship code are becoming a normal part of how we build, and that changes the shape of the delivery pipeline: more change arriving faster, and more of it needing automated verification rather than human gates. You will help design that pipeline and then keep developing it as we learn what actually holds up in production. There is no settled playbook for this yet, so we would rather build ours than wait for one.
Where you work: this role is open across Germany. Hybrid or fully remote both work, depending on where you are based. Our office is in Berlin and you are welcome to use it, but the role does not require you to be there.
You'll work directly with a small, senior engineering team and report to the Engineering Manager for the Enablement Bucket. Few handoffs, short feedback loops, visible impact.
