Devops engineer in regulated environments

At Velorum, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help evolve it. They should be able to deeply understand AI-based products and collaborate closely with engineering teams and clients.

• You will design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Python, and TypeScript services, integrating the QA team's automated tests (Playwright, xUnit, pytest, Testcontainers) as quality gates.
• You will manage the environment chain and its subdomain routing strategy, ensuring parity between environments and controlled promotions through to production.
• You will package the platform for on-premises installations at client sites (Helm, operators, manifests for OpenShift/Kubernetes), including scenarios with network restrictions, private registries, and corporate security requirements.
• You will operate and optimize Neo4j in containers: deployment, backups, restoration, performance, and high availability.
• You will implement observability (logs, metrics, traces, alerts) and feed our metrics: deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and recovery time.
• You will apply security and compliance practices in the software supply chain (secrets management, image and dependency scanning, SBOM) with the traceability required in regulated environments such as GxP or banking.
• You will support the delivery team in client deployments as the technical infrastructure lead.

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production; OpenShift is especially valued.
• Proficiency in CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Containers, Helm, and image registries.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or equivalents).
• Experience with on-premises deployments or client environments with security restrictions.
• Ability to work independently and own initiatives from start to finish.
