devops engineer for a large-scale IoT platform

Akvelon is working on a large-scale IoT platform.

• Participate in infrastructure and architecture improvements;
• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure;
• Design and maintain modular Terraform infrastructure;
• Build, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI;
• Work with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS;
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions;
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues;
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance;
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash and Python;
• Collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to improve deployment and operational processes.

• Upper-Intermediate+ English;
• 3+ Years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineering;
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS;
• Solid knowledge of Terraform;
• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS;
• Practical experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI;
• Good understanding of Docker and containerized environments;
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Graylog;
• Good Bash scripting skills;
• Understanding of networking, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices;
• Familiarity with Java / TypeScript environments;
• Nice to have: Python.

• Office-based work from the Kyiv office or the Chisinau office once it is established;
