Cloud engineer infrastructure and AI

As a part of the Google Cloud Global Service Delivery (GSD) team, you will empower enterprise customers to modernize their cloud foundations and run scalable, AI-ready platforms. As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Cloud Infrastructure and AI solutions, you will contribute across Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Python automation, AIOps, and AI Agents.

• Provide exceptional technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including providing best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more.
• Provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring that customers receive the best of what GCP can offer and have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP.
• Work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.
• Work alongside senior engineers on high-impact customer engagements, help build secure cloud landing zones and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) platforms, automate deployments with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, write clean Python tooling, and operationalize AI agents and AI operations workflows on Google Cloud.
• Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure, solve complex cloud platform challenges.
• Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives.
• Serve as a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
