Cloud engineer in Cato

VIQU are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a central Cloud Engineering team, helping enhance and automate cloud infrastructure while supporting cloud migration and digital transformation. The successful contractor will help deliver secure, reliable and scalable cloud services across a large enterprise environment.

• Design, build and improve the organisations Cato Network combining cloud infrastructure with SASE, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust Network Access frameworks
• Develop automation, self-service tools and deployment frameworks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
• Support application migration and adoption of cloud-native architectures.
• Improve cloud platform security, resilience, availability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and technical stakeholders to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.

• Experience and knowledge of Cato Networks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, Go or Java.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
