Cloud engineer

Schneider Electric is seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on cloud experience to support, operate, and improve existing cloud architecture. This role focuses on applying cloud best practices, strengthening reliability and security, and contributing to day-to-day cloud operations.

• Support, operate, and improve existing cloud infrastructure using best practices
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Improve reliability, monitoring, and alerting across platforms
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes
• Partner with security to ensure environments meet enterprise security standards
• Support application teams with services- and API-based architectures
• Document standards and best practices for cloud usage and infrastructure operations
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, project teams, and support organizations

• Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with cloud networking (virtual networks, firewalls, connectivity)
• Experience with version control systems
• Experience with CI/CD
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging across systems
• Experience with services- or API-based development (not just client-side)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Applicants should be open to working partially overlapping hours with teams based in the US.
