Cloud & data platform engineer

Aurion First is an Information Technology company whose mission is to provide consulting, development, implementation and maintenance services for information systems that contribute to the progress of society and to our Clients' objectives. We are looking for a Senior Cloud & Data Platform Engineer to join a challenging project in an enterprise environment, focused on implementing, administering and evolving cloud and data platforms, especially in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

• Implement, administer and evolve cloud and data platforms in Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure the operational management and reliability of Azure and Azure Databricks services.
• Administer and optimize Astronomer / Apache Airflow platforms.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability mechanisms with Azure Monitor.
• Ensure incident management and resolution, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop automations for provisioning, configuration and execution of operational tasks.
• Monitor platform availability, stability and performance.
• Implement FinOps practices, promoting cloud cost control and optimization.
• Define technical standards, operational procedures and support documentation.
• Promote good practices in Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on the evolution and optimization of platforms.

• Solid experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or similar roles in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Platform Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of administration and operational management of Azure services.
• Proven experience administering Azure Databricks.
• Experience administering Astronomer and/or Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, namely Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, including monitoring, alerting and diagnostics.
• Experience in Cloud Operations, incident management and operational support.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience in Automation Engineering and developing operational automations.
• Ability to define technical standards, procedures and documentation.
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility, results orientation and focus on service quality.
• Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
• Будет плюсом: Experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices; Knowledge of Dynatrace and observability solutions; Experience administering Microsoft Fabric; Experience administering Microsoft Purview; Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes; Knowledge of DevSecOps and integrating security practices into engineering processes
