Azure cloud engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team and support the transformation, management, and optimisation of Microsoft Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, cloud resource management, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and incident resolution, along with a good understanding of cloud-native technologies.

• Support Azure cloud transformation and infrastructure management initiatives.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, networking, and storage.
• Manage and support Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting languages.
• Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Support containerised applications and cloud-native technologies.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud operations and infrastructure efficiency.

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Management.
• Good understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Azure environments.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, networking, and storage.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud-native tools and technologies.
• Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.

• This position is for 1 year with possibility of extension.
