Software Engineer C++ - Trading Platform

Position Highlights:

We are modernizing our trading and research platform to scale our alpha trading business. The platform will enable researchers to explore, test, and deploy sophisticated signals, models, and strategies across asset classes, in a robust, fully automated manner, while remaining within highly competitive latency targets. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the platform that makes this possible.

• Design and deploy performance-critical components for large-scale trading infrastructure.
• Develop high-frequency trading (HFT) systems in C++ with an emphasis on low latency and reliability.
• Write modern, efficient code using the latest C++ standards.
• Interface directly with cutting-edge networking hardware via kernel-bypassing drivers.
• Conduct performance research to push the boundaries of our platform’s speed and scalability.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with C++ development in a Linux environment
• Deep understanding of C++ standards (C++14, C++17; C++20 is a strong plus).
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and system-level programming.
• Solid grasp of multithreading, IPC, and concurrent systems.
• Strong skills in latency and throughput optimization, including experience with profiling and PGO.
• Knowledge of OOP and software design patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• AI & Productivity Tools: Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage modern AI tools (e.g., generative AI, code assistants, research and productivity tools) to improve quality, speed, decision-making, and workflow efficiency while maintaining strong judgment, accuracy, and ownership of outcomes
• Experience developing high-performance, low-latency systems on Linux.
• Familiarity with OS internals and kernel-level networking.
• Understanding of financial instruments such as stocks, ETFs, futures, or options.
• Protocol-level networking knowledge (TCP/UDP/IP stack).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Fast, deep learner who owns their work end to end
• Handles multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Thrives with autonomy, quick decisions, and a small, team-first environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a critical mindset: correct, efficient code held to very high standards
• Curiosity and passion for financial markets and trading, with a long-term view of a career in HFT
• Clear communicator with upper-intermediate (or higher) English
