risk ops engineer for credit decisioning

• Own the end-to-end Decision-Making System (DMS) lifecycle, including architecture, deployment pipelines, production monitoring, code cleanup, and performance optimization
• Translate business logic, risk rules, and ML scoring models into production-ready software with Risk Analysts and Data Scientists
• Implement the core DMS logic for the lending vertical
• Conduct code reviews, manage releases, and evaluate performance while fostering an efficient, agile environment
• Modernize delivery workflows, introduce automated regression and retrospective testing, and remove dependencies on legacy release cycles
• Evolve the high-volume microservices ecosystem using Golang and AWS
• Integrate internal and external services, including credit bureaus, collection platforms, and fraud detection services, via REST APIs and event-driven pipelines

• 7+ Years of backend engineering experience
• Deep expertise in financial technology, credit conveyors, loan processing, debt collection systems, or automated decisioning engines
• Familiarity with a popular decision engine such as gorules, n8n, camunda, SAS RTDM, or FICO Blaze Advisor
• Strong expertise in Golang or Python and build tools such as GitLab CI
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, AuroraDB, DynamoDB, and GBQ
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools, containerization, and system monitoring tools
