The company is a B2B software company operating in the online poker sector.

• Manage a 5–7-person engineering team;
• Build delivery and development processes;
• Audit the current architecture and work with legacy systems;
• Plan and execute gradual modernization without interrupting the business;
• Make architectural and technical decisions;
• Coordinate Development, Infrastructure, Security, and QA;
• Plan team expansion and headcount;
• Work directly with the CEO and founders.

• Experience as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Technical Director, Head of Development, Deputy CTO, or equivalent in practice;
• Experience managing a small technical team;
• Strong understanding of backend and frontend architecture;
• Experience with legacy systems and technical debt;
• People management and headcount planning experience;
• Understanding of application and infrastructure security;
• Willingness to work hands-on and engage deeply with technical issues;
• Nice to have: FinTech / Payments / Crypto, startup / small product company experience, high-load / high-risk systems, C# / .NET, experience working with external security contractors.

• Office role in Batumi, Georgia;
