Full stack developer for CRM platforms

Mortartec is building a next-generation CRM and data infrastructure platform for UK mortgage intermediaries. We are a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup on a mission to modernise how mortgage brokers manage their workflows, compliance, and client data. We operate a lean, agile environment where engineers are expected to own their systems end-to-end, think critically, and build scalable architecture. We are looking for a highly capable, proactive Full Stack Developer to take ownership of core features across our platform. You will be expected to architect, build, and deploy end-to-end solutions, integrating complex third-party data APIs and delivering seamless, responsive user interfaces.

• Architect and build scalable features from the database layer to the front-end user interface.
• Build and maintain robust integrations with third-party industry APIs (both REST and legacy SOAP) to power our core data engines.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Independently research documentation, diagnose bugs, and deploy fixes without requiring heavy oversight.

• 1 to 2 years of proven full-stack engineering experience.
• You have successfully built and deployed end-to-end applications in a startup environment before.
• You are a true self-starter. When faced with a blocker, you test hypotheses and bring solutions to the table rather than waiting for instructions.
• You don’t just write code; you think about the user experience, application performance, and the most efficient way to solve a business problem.
