full stack developer for Bundeswehr digitalization

BWI GmbH provides IT operations and digitalization services for the German Bundeswehr.

• Own technical architectures for full-stack applications;
• Design APIs, data flows, and integrations with external systems, including the development and maintenance of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs;
• Develop and program IT solutions across backend and frontend components;
• Conduct code reviews and code audits while ensuring quality standards;
• Coordinate distributed teams in agile Scrum/Kanban environments and coordinate DevOps activities.

• Hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field;
• Have experience in at least two technology stack areas, such as Rust with TypeScript or Go with Python;
• Have strong knowledge of API design, including REST, GraphQL, and event-based APIs;
• Know how to integrate ML models using technologies such as ONNX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch;
• Have experience developing Edge-AI applications with Rust, for example for IoT, robotics, or autonomous driving;
• Understand IT security concepts, including AuthN/AuthZ, TLS, and secrets management;
• Know system design and architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures;
• Have experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• The compensation ranges from 87.700 € to 128.420 €, depending on the scope of responsibility, experience, and competencies;
