Carla is building an online platform for buying and selling electric cars, aiming to make the process safe, convenient, and transparent.

• Develop and maintain internal tools and applications for operations, including inspection, workshop planning, and quality control, primarily using TypeScript and React
• Deliver end-to-end solutions when needed, including work on the Go backend
• Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve engineering speed, quality, and impact
• Improve the codebase to make it easier to understand, test, maintain, and evolve
• Manage technical debt by refactoring code and improving existing systems
• Build software in a cross-functional team with UX design, product, and engineering
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, clarity, and maintainability
• Lead by example and empower colleagues

• 5+ Years of experience as a frontend engineer
• Solid software architecture fundamentals
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and React
• Backend development experience or a strong interest in solving problems full-stack
• Curiosity and pragmatism in using AI-assisted development tools, from planning and execution to reviews, and in shaping the codebase, tooling, and guardrails for quality work by AI agents
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, product-minded approach
• Enjoy discussing technical and UX solutions
