Frontend engineer for customer-facing services

• Work closely with Octopus Energy ES and various global teams to develop and integrate new features
• Contribute directly to the private area, bill management, saving sessions, customer onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards, all from a frontend perspective
• Deliver code that directly impacts customers.
• Be open to working across different areas of the business as priorities evolve, and optionally get involved in backend-related work (Python/Django, GraphQL) if you have the interest and skills to do so

• Fluent spoken English is absolutely essential 🇬🇧. The team is international, so English will be the language you use on a daily basis.
• Strong, proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer, with a solid grasp of modern frontend architecture
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, ideally hosted on Vercel
• Experience working with GraphQL as a data layer
• Comfort with CSS-in-JS solutions
• Solid testing practices using tools like Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
• Experience working within a monorepo structure
• A flexible, collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
