Join Our Team as Mid Frontend Engineer!
Join one of our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds or Platforms, working remotely from Portugal. As part of our 1,000+ tech team across multiple locations, you’ll collaborate with engineers, SREs, and product teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions, while reporting to an Engineering Manager who will support your growth and impact.
You'll work on a mixed tech stack based on a microservices architecture, entirely on Amazon Web Services, with open source libs like React and/or NextJS.

- AI-Assisted Engineering Workflow: You actively integrate agentic tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) into your team's daily development workflow to write, refactor, and speed up code delivery.
- Quality & Validation Ownership: You treat AI-generated code as a first draft, not a final deliverable - you rigorously review, test, refactor, and take full accountability for code quality, security, and performance.
- Proficient in Modern Frontend Tech: Solid hands-on proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js/React Router, and Node.js.
- Practical Context Awareness: You understand how to provide clear constraints, component boundaries, and context to AI agents so they generate accurate, mergeable UI code.
- Testing & Guardrails Mindset: You rely on automated testing (Jest/React Testing Library, Playwright, E2E) as crucial guardrails to ensure AI-assisted changes do not cause regressions.
- Ownership Mindset: Eager to understand how frontend systems work end-to-end and embrace a «you build it, you run it, you own it» philosophy.
- Collaborative Team Player: A strong communicator who is open to technical discussions, cross-team collaboration, and sharing AI tips and prompt/context strategies with peers.
