Embedded software engineer in automotive

Our software enables the configuration, control and integration of on-chip peripherals, connecting hardware capabilities with vehicle applications.

• Develop and maintain embedded software and peripheral drivers with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Configure microcontroller peripherals and adapt existing software examples to project needs.
• Assist with hardware bring-up, debugging, and software integration.
• Perform basic software tests and document results.
• Participate in code reviews and follow team coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test engineers while building practical expertise in Infineon platforms.

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of C programming and embedded software fundamentals.
• Familiarity with basic peripherals such as GPIO, timers, UART, SPI, I²C, or ADC.
• Basic understanding of interrupts and bare-metal programming.
• Ability to read technical documentation and use basic debugging tools.
• Willingness to learn new platforms, investigate technical issues, and collaborate with the team.
• Experience with arm Architecture.
