Embedded Software Engineer

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will architect, implement, and validate firmware and low-level software for autonomous defense platforms. You will drive hardware-software integration and ensure system reliability and safety standards are met across multi-domain environments.

• Architect and write high-performance C/C++ software and firmware for microcontroller and RTOS-based embedded systems.
• Develop low-level device drivers, bus communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet), and hardware abstraction layers.
• Lead hardware-software integration, system bring-up, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing in laboratory and field environments.
• Optimize software for low latency, memory constraints, and deterministic execution on embedded microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA teams to design robust fault-handling and safety-critical fail-safe mechanisms.

• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development using C and C++.
• Deep experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks) and bare-metal programming.
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M/R), peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet), and hardware schematics.
• Proficiency with debugging equipment (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD debuggers) and automated testing frameworks.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or DO-178C).
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux, ROS/ROS2, or Rust for embedded systems.
• Prior experience in aerospace, robotics, defense, or automotive industries.
