Data engineer in pharma

NextLink Group is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a major data engineering project for a leading global pharmaceutical client. Working across the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Medicine data domains, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions, leveraging AWS, Snowflake, Python/PySpark, and SnapLogic to ensure reliable data integration, quality, and performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Build and optimize data solutions using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue) and Snowflake.
• Develop and support enterprise data integration workflows, including SnapLogic.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata management.
• Implement coding best practices, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based data pipelines while taking ownership of end-to-end delivery.

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles, with hands-on production experience.
• Strong expertise in Python/PySpark and SQL, including data transformation and optimization.
• Practical experience with AWS services, particularly S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience covering data ingestion, modelling, warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

• Payrate: €350-400 per day (All-inclusive)
