• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and integration with Power BI.
• Solid experience in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Advanced SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Python for data engineering (PySpark, pandas).
• Apache Spark / distributed processing of large volumes of data.
• Data modeling: dimensional modeling, star schema, data vault.
• Data Warehousing concepts and Lakehouse / Medallion architectures.
• Design, build and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD practices applied to data.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality and security, including GDPR.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate with business areas (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Commercial) to clarify requirements and validate that the data delivered reflects business reality.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Knowledge of Scala or Java.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
