Data engineer for scalable ML infrastructure

• Build high-quality data warehouses, cloud infrastructures, AI workflows, etc.
• Integrate data from various systems into flexible and consistent representations
• Investigate and assess the long-term impact of AI use cases and their implementation
• Ensure that all employees and IT systems across the company have easy access to data through various frontends and interfaces
• Work in an agile software development process in close collaboration with the analytics, product development and software development teams
• Work in a great cross-functional team environment and thereby influence the business

• Genuine interest in data and algorithms, and enthusiasm for solving difficult business problems through scalable data products
• Knowledge of version control systems, web technologies, software, analytics engineering and data engineering best practices, and how database systems work
• Solid experience with SQL, Python and dbt
• Willingness to learn (we know that you can “fly at least one type of aircraft,” and we will provide you with numerous types and variants of that aircraft)
• Good communication skills in German and English (native or near-native level)
• A degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
