Data engineer

• take ownership of the Snowflake platform
• bring greater control and governance to the data landscape
• work alongside the CTO to develop and deliver the long-term data strategy
• building and enhancing data pipelines and integrations
• supporting a BI Developer
• engaging with senior stakeholders across the business

• Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience in modern cloud-based environments.
• Experience with Snowflake and building scalable data platforms.
• Expertise in data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing.
• Good understanding of data governance, security and best practice.
• Previous experience mentoring, leading or developing team members.
• Comfortable operating autonomously and acting as the senior data authority within a business.
• Someone who enjoys solving complex problems and building capability where none previously existed.
