backend Java engineer for creator platforms

INFINNI provides a CRM platform that creators and creator businesses use to run their operations. It is building AI-powered tools, big-data products, and infrastructure purpose-built for creators.

• Design, build, and evolve backend services in Java and, where appropriate, Go, from architecture through production
• Define and drive architectural decisions for distributed, horizontally scalable systems
• Build event-driven systems on Kafka and design data flows that handle eventual consistency correctly
• Model and optimize data across PostgreSQL, Redis, and analytical stores such as ClickHouse or Apache Doris
• Write efficient, safe concurrent code and review concurrency designs
• Profile and tune applications for latency, throughput, and memory usage, including JVM and garbage collection tuning
• Build and run services on AWS in collaboration with the DevOps team
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Senior Developer or Architect
• Expert-level Java
• Deep experience with Spring and Hibernate/JPA, including understanding their internals
• Strong command of Java multithreading and concurrency, including CompletableFuture, thread pools and executors, the fork/join framework, synchronization primitives, and common pitfalls
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, including eventual consistency, idempotency, and horizontal scaling
• Hands-on experience with Kafka in production
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query optimization, and indexing
• Experience using Redis for caching, rate limiting, or other patterns
• Experience building and running services on AWS
• Practical knowledge of JVM internals, garbage collectors such as G1 and ZGC, and performance tuning with profilers, heap dumps, and GC logs
