• Engineer and implement highly scalable systems using development best practices and tools
• Help define the development environment and communicate best practices across the organisation, including code reviews and testing
• Monitor system quality and design measurements to track system health and data integrity
• Keep up with developments in distributed systems and cloud technologies
• Experiment with new solutions while maintaining code optimisation, maintainability, and quality
• Work closely with Data Science, Product, and UX teams at Kufar to drive product development

• Experience with Go and PostgreSQL
• Good knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience building and maintaining systems at scale, including service discovery, load balancing, secret management, circuit breakers, and deployment schemes such as rolling updates and canary releases
• Experience with high-traffic systems, distributed systems, and databases
• Experience with development best practices, including pair programming, code review, clean code, and CI/CD
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SOLID, and TDD
• Understanding of Quality by Design and consistent use of unit and integration testing
• Take initiative and proactively find and solve product problems
• Care about developing high-quality software
• Be open and proactive in discussing software design alternatives
• Be ownership- and results-oriented, with a team-player mindset
• Good written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills
• Technical-level English
