Voy is a fast-growing healthtech scale-up developing an all-in-one healthcare platform. Its platform helps users diagnose possible conditions, access treatment, and receive ongoing support to improve their quality of life.

• Develop scalable and reliable systems;
• Develop core functionality for customer-facing and internal products, systems, data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities using modern frameworks;
• Develop extensible platforms and architectures for launching new products and lines of business;
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems;
• Develop APIs powering web and mobile platforms across the product portfolio;
• Drive impact in a team environment;
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, QAs, product managers, business stakeholders, and domain experts;
• Own work end-to-end, from scoping and planning through architectural design decisions, implementation, testing, production deployment, and operations.

• Genuine enthusiasm for software engineering and practical problem-solving;

• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to build and run services;
• Eagerness to continuously learn, grow, and step outside the comfort zone;
• Experience building web backends in Node.js/Typescript or willingness to learn on the job;
• Familiarity with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns, and best practices;
• Practical experience with CI/CD and IaC;
• Experience with databases and data management practices, including relational databases and search engines;
• Experience with TDD and testable code, including unit, integration, and performance testing;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply to non-engineering teammates;
• Ability to work with low-level details while making trade-offs aligned with broader goals;
• Nice to have: A degree in CS or equivalent, experience building scalable and highly reliable cloud systems supporting products used by millions of users 24/7, familiarity with modern JS frameworks, experience working in cross-functional teams, an eye for user behaviour and design, attention to detail.

• Hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.
