Chainalysis provides a blockchain data platform that connects the movement of digital assets to real-world services. Its data and AI help organizations investigate illicit activity, manage risk exposure, and develop market solutions. The Protocols team delivers low-latency blockchain datasets that support Chainalysis’ investigation, compliance, data, and security products, currently covering more than 30 blockchains.

• Architect and evolve scalable, reliable, high-performance systems for ingesting and parsing complex blockchain data
• Use AI-native engineering workflows, including LLMs and automated agents, to increase team velocity and code quality
• Provide blockchain protocol expertise to the team and cross-functional stakeholders
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including production monitoring, debugging, and pipeline and service reliability
• Work with Product Managers to ensure datasets meet the evolving needs of the crypto ecosystem
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design documents, and technical mentorship
• Take ownership of AI-assisted work output and ensure its quality
• Experiment with AI tools and workflows, develop AI capabilities, bring forward ideas, and collaborate across teams to improve how work gets done

• Extensive experience building distributed systems or data-intensive applications
• Experience with TypeScript in a professional or personal capacity
• Ability to ship and iterate quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining reliable, maintainable code
• Deep understanding and experience with at least one blockchain protocol
