Backend developer

Noesis is looking for a Senior Backend Developer, with a minimum of 4 years of experience, to design and develop scalable backend services, ensuring software quality and contributing to the resolution of technical challenges.

• Design and develop scalable, reliable and high-performance backend services.
• Develop features and ensure software quality through automated tests and good development practices.
• Collaborate with teams, take ownership of the solutions developed and resolve technical challenges.
• Use Artificial Intelligence tools to support development and increase productivity.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET, Java and Go.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as Aurora, DynamoDB and Redis.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, namely AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field; proven experience will also be considered in the absence of an academic qualification.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Availability to join a 24/7 on-call and support rotation.
• Experience with programming assistance tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to use and validate AI-generated results for development, testing and code improvement.
