AI platform engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join an innovative technology project focused on building and evolving an AI-based engineering platform.

• Design and develop AI agent-based workflows to automate activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop, integrate and deploy AI agents ready for production environments.
• Implement agent orchestration mechanisms, tool calling, context management and communication between agents.
• Develop MCP Servers (Model Context Protocol) and connectors for integration with enterprise tools.
• Integrate AI agents with Jira, code repositories, CI/CD platforms and other engineering tools.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure the quality, reliability and performance of agent- and LLM-based solutions.
• Implement guardrails, validation mechanisms and security controls, ensuring the safe and reliable execution of actions performed by AI agents.
• Develop, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop internal tools, CLIs, workflow engines and reusable components.
• Improve the efficiency, reliability and experience of development teams.
• Independently identify problems and opportunities for automation.
• Evaluate technologies, propose solutions and take technical decisions on architecture and implementation.
• Evolve experimental solutions into scalable, secure and production-ready platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, promoting engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

• More than 8 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Previous experience in Senior, Lead or equivalent roles.
• Proven experience developing and deploying AI agents in real production environments.
• Strong knowledge of agent orchestration, tool calling and context engineering.
• Practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and developing MCP Servers.
• Experience defining and implementing evaluation mechanisms for AI agents and LLM-based solutions.
• Knowledge of guardrails, testing, validation and quality control of model responses.
• Solid experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Experience developing internal platforms, CLI tools, workflow engines or reusable engineering components.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Practical use of AI agent-assisted development tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
• A high level of autonomy and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• C1-level English is mandatory.
