Every few decades, the way companies are built gets reinvented from scratch. That is happening right now, and the people who learn to build in this new world first will define the next twenty years. Superstars are being made this year, not in ten.

HelloPrint is a €100M+ e-commerce company serving businesses across Europe and the US. We are rebuilding the entire company as AI-first: our platform, customer service, operations, and how we design, price, sell, and deliver. Every piece of technology we run is being rewritten as we speak.

We are doing it with a small, senior, very fast AI development team working shoulder to shoulder with our business leads. Now we are opening a handful of seats for young builders who want to grow faster than any graduate scheme, bootcamp, or big-tech ladder could ever let them.

We don't care if you are 16, 25 or 30, whether you are self-taught, hacking in high school, or finishing a degree at TU Delft or TU/e—we care about what you have built and how fast you solve hard problems.

The HelloPrint AI Residency is how you start. It is a permanent role from day one: your first year is a structured residency where you rotate across our most important AI projects, build alongside the team and learn at full speed. After that, you keep growing - in the direction where you have the most impact.

You will not get a training plan, a sandbox project or six months of shadowing. From week one, you build real things that real customers and colleagues use, on the projects that matter most to the company. You sit next to the founders, next to the engineers who are rebuilding our platform, and next to the business leads who own the outcomes. You get a lot of freedom and real responsibility, plus honest, direct guidance and feedback from people who have built this before.

The kind of work you could be on in your first months:

• Agentic Commerce: making HelloPrint discoverable and orderable through AI assistants, so a customer can order business cards from inside a chat.
• AI Design Studio: letting customers create a print-ready design from a single sentence.
• AI-first customer service: replacing classic ticketing with agents that resolve questions, check artwork and handle orders end to end.
• Internal agent swarms: automating finance, purchasing, pricing and operations work that today still takes people hours.
• Whatever you spot next: if you see something we should build, you pitch it, and if it is good, you build it.

We work with almost every modern framework and model, and we change our tools the moment something better appears. You will ship, measure, throw away and ship again - every week.

• You build with AI every day: Claude, Cursor, Lovable, agents, APIs, whatever gets you there fastest.
• You can show us concrete proof of work, not just tell us about it.
• You move fast without being sloppy, and you care about the details the customer sees.
• You are comfortable not knowing the answer, and you find it quickly.
• You communicate clearly in English, in writing and out loud.

What we do not require: a degree, a minimum age, years of experience or a perfect CV. If you are still in school or university, we will make it work around that.

• You are a builder before anything else. You have shipped things nobody asked you to build: an app, an agent, a bot, a tool your friends actually use, a side business, an open-source contribution, a weird experiment that taught you something. You probably have more GitHub commits, demos or deployed projects than most people twice your age.
• You are extremely curious and extremely critical. You read the new model release the day it drops and try it that evening. You question every assumption, including ours, and you can explain why. You are never satisfied with "it works" — you want to know why it works, and how it could be ten times better.
• You want to get better every single day, and you treat feedback as fuel rather than criticism. You take ownership: when something breaks, you fix it; when something is unclear, you go and find out.
• You have a solid grasp of backend and software fundamentals (Python, APIs, databases) or the raw learning capacity to pick them up in weeks.

The honest pitch: you will learn more here in one year than in five years almost anywhere else, because you will be building real systems for a real company that is reinventing itself, with the people who are leading that change.

A contract from day one. The Residency is your first year at HelloPrint, not a trial period or an internship.

Send us three things:

• Your best project: a link to something you built: a live product, a repo, a demo video. Tell us in a few sentences what it does and what you would do differently now.
• Something you think is broken: one thing about HelloPrint (our website, our ordering flow, anything) that you would rebuild with AI, and how you would do it.
• A short intro: who you are and what you are obsessed with right now. Five sentences is plenty.

What happens next:

• We read every application ourselves and reply within 5 days if you’re up to the next round
• A 15-minute call with one of our builders or founders about your projects.
• A Builders Day in our office: Together with other builders, you meet the team and if we have a click, you work on an assignment
• A conversation with the founders, and a decision the same day.
