AI engineer in healthcare

Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas: Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement; IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams. We are seeking an AI Engineer (GenAI) to work on a healthcare project.

• Refine GenAI user stories end-to-end, including acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring clarity and completeness before final validation;
• Own the GenAI scope and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team on scope, complexity, and estimates;
• Assess and validate the impact of GenAI on EA, covering feasibility, risks, and architecture, data, and security implications;
• Act as technical partner for the team on GenAI-related decisions and cross-functional coordination.

• Fluent and proficient usage of Agentic Development Tools as part of daily software development workflows (e.g. Claude Code), with strong command of Skills, MCP servers, Rules, and Commands;
• Thorough understanding of Agentic Systems design patterns and techniques;
• Proficiency in Python, vector stores, semantic search, prompt engineering, and LLM call parametrization;
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and AWS services, with the ability to own, maintain, and extend GenAI services integrated into production applications;
• Working knowledge of DBT and Snowflake;
• C1 level of English or above.
