AI engineer in digital transformation

With a rapidly growing digital sector portfolio, NTU is expanding its activities in Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, ICT advisory, software development and innovative technology solutions. Our work combines strategic advisory and applied research with the design and implementation of practical digital solutions, including digital platforms, data-driven applications and AI-powered systems. We are now looking for a skilled and motivated AI Engineer with a strong software development background and practical experience applying modern AI technologies.

• Design, develop, test and deploy software applications, digital platforms and AI-powered solutions.
• Build and integrate APIs, backend services, databases and web-based applications.
• Develop AI-powered tools using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Integrate AI functionalities into existing systems, platforms and business processes.
• Develop functional prototypes, proof-of-concepts and scalable software solutions.
• Support technical feasibility assessments, system architecture and implementation planning.
• Collaborate with NTU's international project teams, technology partners and clients.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development or engineering.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or other modern programming languages.
• Experience developing web applications, APIs, backend services and database-driven systems.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs, AI APIs, RAG solutions and AI agents into software applications.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and infrastructure, including Git, Docker and cloud environments.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test and deploy functional software solutions.
• Understanding of software security, data protection and responsible AI principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication skills.
