You take hands-on ownership of interface design and Design System delivery for a digital platform that enables KPMG teams to create engaging, interactive experiences for clients and internal audiences. Working in a multidisciplinary digital product team, you translate product direction and validated user insights into detailed, scalable and development-ready experiences.
You design new and existing functionality across relevant workflows, states, edge cases and screen sizes. Using Figma, you create clear interface designs and interactive prototypes that make proposed solutions tangible before development. You balance visual quality, usability, accessibility and technical feasibility, while maintaining a consistent experience across the platform.
A key part of your role is evolving the product Design System. You create and improve reusable components, variants, patterns, styles, variables and design tokens, and document how they should behave and be used. This helps the team avoid unnecessary one-off solutions and makes the product easier to scale and maintain.
You prepare clear specifications for development, including responsive rules, component behaviour and interaction details. During implementation, you review the resulting interfaces and identify gaps in visual consistency, responsiveness, interaction quality and accessibility early enough to resolve them effectively.
As the platform introduces more AI-enabled capabilities, you also help shape experiences such as guided creation, recommendations, intelligent assistance and AI-supported editing. You prototype emerging concepts and create interaction patterns that make AI functionality understandable, useful and trustworthy, with appropriate transparency, user control, feedback, correction and error handling.
Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS), enterprise applications, HTML and CSS, browser-based design quality assurance, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or AI-assisted design and prototyping tools is beneficial. Direct experience designing AI-enabled functionality is an advantage, but strong product-design fundamentals and a clear interest in developing this capability are equally valuable.
