Product designer

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Design System squad in Lidl Plus, with a strong knowledge and experience in UX/UI design, design systems, scalability, theming, tokenization, multi-brand, accessibility and governance.

• As a Product Designer you will design, document, maintain, scale and release the libraries while also do research, manage timings and expectations, audit components adoption and advise our internal consumers.
• You will demonstrate, prove and convince stakeholders the proposals meet user needs and business requirements.
• You will help teams build consistent, accessible and scalable multi-platform experiences.
• You will work very closely with a development team to ensure the design gets the experience requirements in all design and development phases.
• Develop, maintain and improve collaboration processes.
• Help translate design decisions into scalable components.
• Audit system adoption to ensure design quality and consistency.
• Work closely with engineers to align design and implementation.
• Define reusable components ensuring they meet the definition of done.
• Manage and develop the system collaboratively based on product needs.
• Lead meetings to explain solutions and achieve agreements with the technical team.

• You must have knowledge of iOS, Android and Web standards and best practices.
• We need effective communication, presentation and team player skills to work with an international and multicultural team.
• Advance experience using Figma.
• Complete professional fluency in English.
• Be proactive, autonomous, organized and analytical.
• Experience working with component libraries and design files.
• Minimum 5 years designing for digital software or mobile apps.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, standards and best practices.
• A portfolio demonstrating your passion for simple, intuitive, and beautiful user centered designs.
• Experience working on social or consumer facing products across multiple platforms (desktop and mobile)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that enable you to lead meetings, debate, and give feedback while respecting your colleagues.
• Demonstrate a senior profile showing your knowledge, the capacity to generate ideas and the capability to materialize them into effective solutions.
