Technical business analyst in digital products

• Evaluate current and emerging business procedures, collaborating with clients and internal teams to propose impactful system solutions and process improvements.
• Proactively bring cross-functional teams together to shape user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications (including API contracts, payload logic, and data mappings).
• Facilitate data analysis, query system data to uncover edge cases, and map complex integration dependencies across backend architecture.
• Manage project backlogs during discovery, build, and run phases, balancing business priorities against technical constraints, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and engineering effort.
• Support and lead client discovery conversations, driving estimation efforts, facilitating workshops, and championing best practices across your project team.

• Proven experience delivering both product-led user initiatives and complex technical projects (e.g., API integrations, platform migrations, data architecture).
• Experience working for a Consultancy or Client facing environment
• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst working closely with engineering, architecture and product teams.
• Experience working with data, including data mapping, data models, databases and ideally SQL.
• A strong track record of working alongside engineering teams to analyse data flows, system logic, and technical dependencies.
• A user-centric mindset that ensures backend architectural choices directly support a seamless end-user experience.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of business context and translating complex goals into clear. specifications.
• Bring meticulous requirements analysis, lead estimation efforts, and champion best practices across your project team.
