• Own analytical problems end to end, turning ambiguous business questions into trusted analytical results;
• Define and validate metric logic, reconcile results against source systems, and prevent misleading numbers from reaching stakeholders or clients;
• Investigate APIs, source tables, and existing reporting logic to identify useful, missing, or unreliable data;
• Build business-facing marts and own the analytical logic behind datasets for dashboards, reporting, and decision-making;
• Define upstream engineering requirements when raw data or lower-layer models do not support reliable analytics;
• Improve analytics consistency by reducing duplicated logic and dashboard drift through reusable datasets, clear ownership, and documentation;
• Partner with the Analytics Lead, Data Engineer, Product, CS, Marketing, and Finance.

• Strong SQL and analytical thinking, including exploring messy data, validating logic, spotting edge cases, and building reliable datasets;
• Strong ownership and metric sense, with the ability to work from vague questions, define meaningful metrics, compare methodologies, and explain discrepancies;
• Experience across product, business, or revenue analytics, including product usage, funnels, operational, reporting, or financial metrics;
• Experience with dbt or a close equivalent, including modular modeling, marts, dependencies, and maintainable business logic;
• Ability to work across B2B and B2C logic, from customer-level business metrics to end-user or lead behavior;
• Ability to translate data complexity into engineering requirements and explain necessary upstream changes;
• High standards for data quality and collaboration, including validating outputs, documenting assumptions, and working effectively across technical and business teams;
• Nice to have: experience in B2B SaaS and client-facing reporting, experience with billing, payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, or reconciliation, experience with product analytics and behavioral data, experience with systems thinking or data systems design, experience working with API data structures and Data Engineers on warehouse design, ClickHouse experience.
