IABG’s Defence & Security division provides technical services to the armed forces and acts as a recognized national and international service provider for solution design, analysis, development, implementation support, and service delivery.

• Analyze weapon system data, focusing on system, operational, and logistics data using established and innovative methods and tools;
• Access data sources containing information on weapon system operation, maintenance, and servicing;
• Support the development and enhancement of a data platform to ensure a consistent overall data foundation;
• Review, visualize, evaluate, link, clean, and integrate available data deliveries into the existing data analysis pipeline;
• Find innovative solutions for incomplete data and system breaks;
• Analyze customer requirements and framework conditions to develop stable, high-quality solutions;
• Develop and document Python programs for data analysis of specific questions;
• Extend and maintain existing code structures;
• Support the team through code reviews.

• Practical experience with Python-based data science methods and tools;
• Completed degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field;
• Expertise in designing and implementing data analysis projects;
• Strong interest in in-depth analysis of weapon system data and its connection to weapon system engineering;
• Goal-oriented and pragmatic approach to developing efficient solutions while considering the overall project context;
• Structured, independent analytical work style with strong quality awareness and team orientation;
• Ability to set clear priorities during dynamic workload peaks;
• Very good German skills, both written and spoken;
• Nice to have: Knowledge of advanced analytics methods.
