Business analyst in insurance

• Identify, analyze and clarify business needs, translating them into clear, actionable functional requirements for development teams;
• Functionally follow up on projects and initiatives for application implementation and evolution;
• Analyze and follow up on corrective and evolutionary development requests;
• Troubleshoot application incidents, supporting root cause identification and solution validation;
• Coordinate business areas, development teams and external suppliers, ensuring alignment between the need and the delivered solution;
• Define test scenarios and cases, prepare data, and execute or follow up on functional tests;
• Support users during UAT, analyze defects and follow up on their resolution;
• Validate deliveries and support the preparation and follow-up of releases and production deployments;
• Follow up on solution stabilization after production deployment;
• Produce and maintain functional and application documentation;
• Manage priorities and follow up on each issue through to closure.

• Senior experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, Application Management or IT Delivery;
• Proven experience managing projects/application evolutions and application maintenance and support activities simultaneously;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to understand business processes and relate them to applications and integrations;
• Experience defining and executing functional, integration, regression and UAT tests;
• Experience working with development teams and external suppliers;
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies, adapting the approach to the context;
• Familiarity with backlog and incident management tools, such as Azure DevOps or ServiceNow;
• Good communication, organization and priority management skills, with the autonomy to take end-to-end ownership.
