Analista funcional en proyectos de software

We are looking for a semi-senior functional analyst / project manager, with 3 or more years of experience, to work in a hybrid arrangement in Barcelona. Software and process digitization projects developed with AI (Claude Code), at a technology consultancy working with banking, insurance, and other companies. We are a technology consultancy in the center of Barcelona, with more than 20 years of digitizing processes for companies and financial institutions. We are around 40 people, approachable, demanding when it comes to quality, and we think long term.

• Understand the client: their business, processes, and what they really need, even if they cannot explain it.
• Translate this into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that the team can execute without ambiguity.
• Plan and manage the project: priorities, deadlines, risks, and communication with the client.
• Validate that what is delivered is what was requested and works as the client expects.

• Structured thinking: you break a complex problem down into clear, ordered parts.
• Ability to listen and ask the right questions: you identify what the client does not say.
• Clear and precise writing: your documents are understood without needing a meeting.
• Organization and execution: you organize yourself, prioritize, and deliver on what you promise.
• Judgment and responsibility: you say “this does not make sense” in time and take responsibility for what is delivered.
• 3 or more years as a functional analyst, consultant, product owner, project manager, or in a similar role on software projects.
• Experience writing functional specifications, user stories, or requirements for development teams.
• Direct interaction with clients or business areas.
• Regular use of AI in your work (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar).
• You do not need to know how to program, but you do need to understand how software is built and communicate naturally with the technical team.

• Salary according to experience and level of autonomy demonstrated during the process.
• Permanent contract.
• Office in the center of Barcelona, with 2 days of remote work per week and, after 3 months, 10 additional days per quarter.
• Flexible hours: 8 hours Monday to Friday, or 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday with a shorter Friday. Intensive working hours in July and August.
