GrapheneOS develops an operating system, first-party apps, Vanadium, and a release process.

• Test OS changes, apps, Vanadium, and release candidates on real devices and emulators
• Test regressions, edge cases, upgrades, profiles, and private space before merges and releases
• Triage GitHub and community reports, identify duplicates and missing information, assess severity, and route issues to developers
• Collect diagnostics, including adb data, logs, bug reports, screenshots, recordings, and crash traces
• Keep regression plans and daily-driver test devices up to date
• Find, reproduce, minimize, document, and track issues before they reach users
• Turn unclear reports into actionable engineering tickets

• Dedicated QA experience
• Experience with adb and shell
• Knowledge of Android internals, including permissions, lifecycle, install and update, notifications, storage, networking, and system settings
• Experience with issue triage
• Clear written English
• Ability to work independently
• English proficiency of at least B1
• Candidates whose last ~5 years were spent in government or quasi-government companies in Russia will not be a fit
