• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications
• Support the implementation of automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify test scenarios suitable for automation
• Analyze test results and investigate automation failures
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve test design, test data generation, failure analysis, and automation maintenance under senior engineers’ guidance
• Review business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Document defects clearly and work with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Validate fixes and ensure production readiness
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Work with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and quality expectations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Engineering function
• Support CI/CD testing activities and automated test execution pipelines
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation effectiveness
• Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices
• Explore opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce repetitive testing effort, improve defect triage, and accelerate release confidence

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field
• 3 To 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
• Experience using version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
• Awareness of AI-assisted development or testing tools and interest in applying AI responsibly to improve quality engineering outcomes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, learning agility and curiosity, team collaboration, ownership and accountability, effective communication, and a continuous improvement focus
• Responsible curiosity in using AI tools, with awareness of data privacy, security, and quality risks
