project manager in retail and private banking

Bank Pekao S.A. is one of the largest banks in the country.

• Lead strategic and transformation projects in Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Operations from initiation through completion and settlement
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects according to the Bank’s project methodology, schedule, budget, and scope
• Work with business, branch network, Operations, HR, IT, external suppliers, and key stakeholders to achieve project objectives
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, business analyses, business cases, and materials for committees and management meetings
• Coordinate project governance, organize and lead recurring project meetings and committees, monitor follow-up actions, and ensure information flows between involved units
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for management and decision-making bodies on initiative status, risks, key decisions, deliverables, and business benefits
• Identify, analyze, and monitor risks, dependencies, and issues requiring decisions, and initiate mitigation actions
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, and report project status to relevant decision-making bodies
• Coordinate project teams, set priorities, and oversee key activities and milestones
• Support business and organizational change implementation, manage stakeholders, and monitor the achievement of expected business benefits after project completion

• Higher education, preferably in economics, management, finance, banking, or a related field
• English at minimum B1/B2 level
• At least 5 years of experience leading business or transformation projects, including at least 2 years in the banking or financial sector
• Practical knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum project management methodologies, with experience independently leading projects
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects involving multiple organizational areas
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope, and risks
• Ability to prepare analyses, presentations, and materials for management and decision-making committees
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse business and technology stakeholders
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Independence, accountability, initiative, and a results-oriented approach
• Ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic environment and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
