product manager for Pre-Tax benefits

The client provides a flexible benefits platform that enables companies to design personalized employee benefits programs while reducing administrative complexity and operational overhead for HR teams. Employees can use allocated benefits budgets through an internal marketplace, a Visa payment card, or reimbursement claims. The platform supports nearly one million employees.

• Analyze the business, customer, and regulatory context of Pre-Tax benefits products, including HSA, FSA, HRA, and related employee benefit programs
• Identify customer needs, pain points, and product opportunities
• Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for assigned Pre-Tax capabilities, balancing customer value, business priorities, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and technical constraints
• Analyze the business context and the client’s current state, and define business needs
• Identify gaps between the current product experience and the target state, and define initiatives to close them
• Define and track product KPIs and success metrics for key Pre-Tax journeys
• Use customer feedback, usage data, operational metrics, and market insights to support prioritization and product decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, operational efficiency, and competitiveness of Pre-Tax offerings
• Define and manage solution scope, detect and track changes, and resolve requirements-related conflicts and issues
• Document requirements according to predefined standards and project-specific needs
• Identify systems, actors, and organizational departments affected by the solution scope, and define assumptions and constraints
• Plan stakeholder communication and manage requirements communication according to project specifics and stakeholder preferences
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and teams to develop a shared understanding of solutions
• Communicate product priorities, decisions, roadmap updates, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support release planning and milestone definition, ensuring product scope aligns with delivery capacity and business priorities

• 7 Or more years of IT industry experience, including collaboration with clients abroad
• 5 Or more years of experience in business analysis or product management
• Hands-on experience with U.S. Pre-Tax / tax-advantaged employee benefits products
• Experience with claims, reimbursements, expense eligibility, substantiation, adjudication, and supporting documentation workflows
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile product delivery
• Knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques, and the requirements lifecycle
• Experience with requirements management tools, including JIRA and Confluence
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including using data and customer feedback to support product decisions
• Ability to define product success metrics and evaluate the impact of released functionality
• Ability to represent information graphically
• Systems thinking and ability to understand complex, interconnected product and operational flows
